Christmas shopping for presents for my family and friends back home. I explore Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. I didn’t mention it in the video but it is actually the former site of Sugamo prison which is where Hideko Tojo among other war criminals were excuted after the war. Now its a dumpling theme park and shopping mall. Burger King has returned to Tokyo after the branches all disappeared back in 2001. I have always been a bigger fan of BK than the other American burger chains, though if you watch my video about Japanese burger shops (Vlog #7) I still stick to my belief that Freshness Burger is the top grub in Japan.
